ZHOUZHUANG

Zhouzhuang is a small town located about 30 km south of Suzhou and 75 km west of Shanghai in Jiansu Province. The town its known for its beautiful environment and ancient architecture. The town has been established more than 900 years ago and over 60 percent of the buildings have been built during Ming and Qing Dynasties and are wonderfully preserved. The town is extremely popular, especially among Chinese tourists and herds of people flock here during weekend. Its main specialty is pork knuckle and is being sold almost everywhere.
