QUEENSTOWN

 Queenstown is probably an adventure capital of the world with scores of young people coming there to try bungy jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, jet-boating, river surfing and white water sledging, paragliding and parachuting, canyoning etc. It is also a center for winter sports like skiing. For non-adventures it offers nice walking, lake cruising and first of all wonderful views of 310 metres deep Lake Waikatipu and surrounding mountains.
